When I was done at the play place and joked that I was going to go romp around in the rain again, the woman asked if I would like her to call the shuttle. They made me feel like I was interrupting their conversation to give me a quick NO. I asked the front desk if they happened to have any umbrellas. It was pouring rain and I wanted to walk from the lodge to the play place. This is very inconvenient when you are trying to relax. The bathtub plug did not stay plugged and a washcloth had to be rigged so the water in the tub would stay. After two nights of horrible sleep I was happy to get back home to my crappy bed. I do not have a nice bed at home and I was expecting a nice, lush, comfortable bed to sleep in during my stay, especially because this was a *deluxe suite*. I have never in my life slept on a more uncomfortable bed. I will list the things that made my trip anything but relaxing. I booked a two night stay right before Christmas and was expecting to have a nice relaxing time in a comfortable room. With kids and working full time, it is hard to find time for myself. Going on a staycation is very rare for me. The only redeeming event of our trip was the buffet and the play place.
